5-speed automatic transmission
The 5-level automatic transmission also changes quickly. The gentle gear changes also make for excellent ride comfort. The 5-speed automatic transmission is available as an option for the 4-cylinder models.
7G-TRONIC 7-speed automatic transmission
For both the 6-cylinder models, CLC 230 and CLC 350, the automatic transmission 7G-TRONIC is optionally available. Its seven forward gears allow small shifts in engine speed for an optimum transmission ratio – and thanks to multiple downshifting, several gears can even be skipped. Fast shifting with smooth gear changes and reduced fuel consumption are the unmistakable advantages of the 7G-TRONIC. That's attractive, and not just to sporty drivers.
