This suspension system, which has a selective passive damping system, provides all-round ride comfort on any road surface. The AGILITY CONTROL suspension with selective damping system can automatically adjust to road conditions and your driving style. To do this, a valve automatically reduces the damping power on each wheel when impact is weaker and thus creates better road roar and tyre vibration characteristics. For stronger impacts the damping effect of the system increases and can improve the vehicle’s overall handling.

At high speeds power steering assist decreases significantly, while at low speeds it is continually increased.This means the driver needs only relatively little force to steer at low speeds. The Dynamic Handling package enhances agility, ride comfort and straight-line stability thanks to the 15-mm lowering of the sports suspension, the speed-sensitive sports steering with more direct steering ratio and the adaptive damping system. The damping system has two basic settings. The change between the comfortable setting and the sports mode is made by pressing the SPORT button. In addition, pressing the E/S button can enhance the gearshift performance of the transmission: In the S program all the parameters are adjusted to ensure the best possible acceleration and rapid reaction times.
