AMG Performance media (optional) For drivers with an affinity for motor racing and technology the new AMG Performance media information system registers and visualises vehicle-specific data as well as racetrack information. The data can be stored and exported for subsequent analysis. The system provides the option of downloading apps and adjusting vehicle settings. All information is shown on the COMAND display and the functions are accessed via the COMAND controller.
The main points at a glance: - Display and storage of vehicle-specific data: coolant, motor oil and transmission oil temperature, torque, output, accelerator pedal position (0 to 100 percent), current tyre pressure for all four wheels.
- Display and analysis of route/trip information: brake pedal position (0 to 100 percent), lateral and longitudinal acceleration, steering wheel position (0 to -180 degrees) speed (screenshots can be saved on a USB stick), recording of race tracks using GPS data in the vehicle, analysis of sectors, lap and race times, import and export of route data in gpx format (Nürburgring Nordschleife and Hockenheimring tracks saved ex factory).

Becker® MAP PILOT (optional) This compact navigation module transforms the Audio 20 CD into full-fledged navigation system with intuitive operation. The Becker® MAP PILOT plugs in inconspicuously in the glove compartment and can be removed at any time. The functions at a glance: - Display of POIs such as filling stations and restaurants with brand logos
- Automatic control of the radio and music playback during voice guidance prompts
- Calculation of route with biggest fuel savings (optimum compromise between time en route and fuel consumption)

Digital radio (DAB) (optional) An auxiliary aerial and a digital receiver allow listening to terrestrial broadcasts of digital radio stations. DAB digital radio offers excellent reception quality and valuable additional information about e.g. traffic or the radio programme.
Because there is not blanket coverage of digital broadcasts yet, the digital DAB radio switches automatically from digital to analogue reception and vice-versa depending on signal strength. It is also possible to switch between digital and analogue mode manually.

Convenience Telephony (optional) A universal interface in the armrest lets you connect mobile phones conveniently to the vehicle's speaker phone. To do so, just insert the mobile phone into the a phone cradle (accessory) matching the device. Convenience Telephony provides excellent reception and transmission of phone signals by using the vehicle's exterior aerial. You can also use the charging function to charge your mobile phone. The functions of your phone can be accessed via the screen – incoming text messages can also be displayed here. And if you want to make a call, you can dial your contact intuitively and with confidence using the control unit.

Media Interface (optional) A universal interface in the centre console, including consumer cable, lets you easily connect portable media players such as iPod® or iPhone®. The audio and video contents are thus conveniently controlled and reproduced first-class via the infotainment systems of the vehicle.
The system makes it easy to read additional information such as track title, album name, artist etc. (where available) on the vehicle display.

Travel and restaurant guide (optional for COMAND Online multimedia system) The Michelin travel and restaurant guide provides extensive information about restaurants, hotels, tourist attractions and routes 36 European countries. By inserting an SD memory card the data can be accessed via COMAND Online and used for navigation. The search function makes it easy to quickly find points of interest (POIs) in close vicinity or at the destination. Graded ratings symbols help the user to select restaurants, hotels, points of interest and scenic routes. The software also offers additional multimedia information (audio files, images and texts) about the POIs. The contents of the travel guide can be updated free of charge on the Mercedes-Benz portal.

Harman Kardon® Logic7® surround sound system (optional) With twelve speakers including a subwoofer, a 9-channel DSP amplifier and an output of 450 watts the Harman Kardon® Logic 7® surround sound system in conjunction with audio devices provides a perfect listening experience in stereo as well as in the DTS and Dolby Digital-5.1 formats. Twelve high-performance loudspeakers and the Logic 7® multi-channel, surround-sound technology help create a three-dimensional music experience in all seats. The automatic volume control adapts the sound in line with the car’s current speed.

Telephone module with Bluetooth® (optional for Convenience Telephony) This feature allows the connection of a mobile phone using the Bluetooth® SAP (SIM Access Profile) protocol or direct operation by inserting a SIM card into the integral SIM card reader.
