With the AVANTGARDE equipment line, the new C-Class becomes quite an exceptional Mercedes. Even the front end already suggests the agility of this model: the visually wide radiator grille with its three brilliant silver louvres and striking chrome strips is embellished by a centrally located Mercedes star in its centre. The flanks of the C-Class are enhanced with various chrome trim features, including those on the bumpers, wings and doors. Other eye-catching features include the trim strip along the waistline and the roof rails in polished aluminium, the chrome tailgate handle, the dimmed tail light indicators and the continuous chrome strip around the entire vehicle. The interior is characterised by sporty contrasts. The flooring and dashboard are in black, while the centre door panels and door armrests are in black or alpaca grey. The cool sportiness of the interior is accentuated by finely structured aluminium trim, with wood trim in black bird's-eye maple available as an option. The seats feature horizontal stitching, and are upholstered as standard in a combination of Liverpool fabric and ARTICO man-made leather in black or alpaca grey.
Optional appointments for the C-Class AVANTGARDE include two-tone leather upholstery with the black/sahara beige or black/cognac brown colour combination adding a particularly striking touch.
