Driver and front passenger enjoy the luxury of Executive Chairs in the interior. A wealth of variability begins behind these seats. The new R-Class is available as a 5-seater with a large tailgate as standard, as well as an additional stowage compartment and a volume of 51 litres in the luggage compartment floor.

If the seats are completely folded forward, they create a flat loading area extending from the backrests of the front seats to the tailgate. Loading is no problem thanks to the low 714 mm boot sill. Transport tasks are made even more straightforward with the optional EASY-PACK loading aid. This option includes a tailgate that can be opened and closed by remote control or switch. It also includes a practical luggage compartment cover. These two features can also be ordered individually.

With a load compartment length of 1.95 metres (2.19 metres in the long-wheelbase version) and a load width of 1.25 metres, the R-Class is also the most spacious car we've ever built. You can easily stow six suitcases. And thanks to the individual seats, the variability of the R-Class is outstanding.
