The Cabriolet comfort package comprises two innovative components that make open-top motoring a pure joy:
AIRCAP consists of an air deflector module in front with electric operation in the roof frame and a draught-stop between the rear head restraints. By channelling the airflow over the vehicle when driving with the top down, the system developed by Mercedes-Benz considerably reduces both draughts and turbulence for passengers. This increases the ride comfort at the push of a button, particularly in the rear, and a reduced noise level facilitates communication.
AIRSCARF neck-level heating extends the cabriolet season - and allows driving with an open top even when the outside temperature is low. At the push of a button fans on the rear sides of the front head restraints draw in air, which is then heated and blown out again through a vent in the front of the seat. It warms the neck and throat like an invisible scarf.
