With the optional sports package, the CLC hugs the road even more closely thanks to its sports suspension, while the innovative direct steering system makes for more direct handling and enhanced agility. The CLC is even more expressive with, for instance, the 18-inch light-alloy wheels, dark-tinted projection-beam headlamps, or the radiator grille with black louvres and chrome inserts.
The exceptional design of the CLC radiates a self-confidence and dynamism which are immediately apparent, thanks to the forwards thrust of the distinctive arrow-shaped design and the wide appearance of the chassis. The sporty shape of the front apron with air inlets at the sides and a large central star in the radiator grille fit perfectly into the overall scheme of things.
Tried-and-tested safety systems such as the Electronic Stability Program ESP® with acceleration skid control (ASR), Brake Assist (BAS) and the anti-lock braking system ABS in the CLC help prevent something from happening before it can happen. Passive safety elements include a safety body, energy-absorbing deformation zones and numerous airbags, and the seat belts provide additional occupant protection.
For information, communication, navigation and entertainment the CLC offers the latest audio and communications solutions as options: user-friendly colour displays and a bluetooth interface for your mobile phone or the COMAND APS multimedia system with the LINGUATRONIC voice-operated control system and 4 GB of storage for your audio files. And the optional surround sound system with specially balanced acoustics guarantees perfect sound in the CLC.
