The AMG 6.3 litre V8 engine with an output of 375 kW and a peak torque rating of 630 Nm makes the ML 63 AMG a highly entertaining performer: the new model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.0 seconds and can reach an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. The AMG SPEEDSHIFT 7G-TRONIC in conjunction with 4MATIC permanent AWD delivers extremely short shift times. And the deceleration figures of the AMG braking system are equally impressive.
Based on the AIRMATIC package, the AMG sports suspension delivers the power of the ML 63 AMG securely to the road. AMG spring struts and shock absorbers minimise body roll, while the AMG sports exhaust system with two sets of oval twin tailpipes generates a powerful 8-cylinder sound.
The strongest of all M-Class models is easily identified thanks its AMG bodystyling and 20 inch 5-spoke AMG alloy wheels in high-sheen titanium grey (as an option also 21 inch 5-twin-spoke AMG 5-twin-spoke alloy wheels in high-sheen titanium grey). AMG bodystyling comprises a special AMG front apron, round fog lamps and an underride guard in high-sheen chrome – as well as an AMG rear apron with high-sheen chrome underguard. Other distinguishing characteristics include the AMG-specific radiator grille, flared wheel arches and side running boards in aluminium finish.
The ML 63 AMG features AMG sports seats in nappa leather with Alcantara® panels in the shoulder area, which provide optimum support and, thanks to the multicontour function, the ultimate in comfort. The AMG sports steering wheel with aluminium gearshift paddles and AMG instrument cluster with RACETIMER create a racing-car feel in the cockpit. The nappa leather appointments, aluminium-silver and black trim, and brushed stainless steel sports pedals add to the exclusive ambience.
