The TV tuner enables television viewing during driving breaks. The receiver unit processes both analogue and digital signals and is controlled using the COMAND Online multimedia system, whose display is positioned in the driver’s central field of vision and also shows the image. Sound output is via the vehicle’s speaker system. The receiving aerial is integrated in the rear window. At speeds above approx. 6 km/h, the image is switched off for safety reasons and reappears when the speed falls below this limit. |
